Our database includes tens of thousands of shrines and temples discovered through OpenStreetMap data and community contributions. However, not every shrine or temple offers goshuin stamps—many are small neighborhood shrines (hokora) or unmanned sites without an office.

Rather than attempting to catalog which shrines and temples offer goshuin, we rely on the community to organically surface this information:

• Log your stamps — When you record a goshuin in your book, it confirms that shrine or temple offers stamps
• Share visit reports — Your observations help others know what to expect (shrine office hours, accessibility, etc.)
